Requirements for the Rebate program
- Own a detached single family home with no property taxes or liens outstanding.
- Obtain an energy audit from a licensed, bonded and insured California building contractor who has a BPI (bpi.org) building analyst certification and energy test equipment.
- Fill out a "utility bill release" so we can get your energy billing usage from PG&E and analyze your energy usage so we can start helping you cut your costs.

- $1,500 available total, maximum of 30% of total amount spent for upgrades. You'll need to spend $5000 to get $1,500 back. The reamainder can be financed. Ends 12/31/2010. Can be used in conjunction with Energy Upgrade California.
- Berkeley ME2 Energy Rebate program The City of Berkeley is accepting applications for their ARRA funded program. Berkeley is the national leader in providing PACE financing to it's citizens to retrofit their roofs to become solar power plants with financing paid back via property taxes over 10 or more years. Their home energy retrofit program, due to it's popularity, is currently fully booked. Check out their webpage.

- The City of San Leandro has a program to reimburse the cost of the testing required with $500 per home if you achieve the minimum 20% improvement in the Energy Upgrade California progrram. For information.
